We've only gone and WON the 2020 Lake Wanaka Locals choice award for 'Best Food Truck' from Lake Wanaka Tourism.

We - literally- could not have done this without the support of our local community for whom we are extremely grateful. Local support has meant the world to us since opening Burrito Craft, however, since the border closure in 2020, the Wanaka community have REALLY done their best to support each other.

"While we knew we had been nominated, we were blown away to walk away as the winners of the 2020 Best Food Truck in Wanaka Award. Thank you to everyone that took time to vote, it means the world to us" Owner- Julia

The local community have helped us on many levels over the years; from regular visits to which has helped us with food quality & consistency, feedback about new menus, to reviews and general encouragement. If you ever have any feedback about our trucks, please contact management directly on admin@burritocraft.co.nz or, if you are feeling generous and would like to share an amazing review with the world, please click here.

I read this text with great interest and found several useful insights. The text maintains a good balance between simplicity and completeness. I saved this text so I can reread it in the future when I need it. It is rare to find content so well structured on this topic.

What stands out is how moments of disruption often reveal the underlying strength of local networks, where support becomes less about casino choice and more about shared resilience. In that sense Golden Crown reflects a similar pattern, where value is shaped by collective context rather than individual effort alone.

The discussion around the importance of community support raises interesting questions about local economies. The article illustrates how Burrito Craft benefits from this support, highlighting a revolution in how businesses interact with customers. It’s essential to consider whether such reliance on community goodwill can be sustainable in the long run, especially as external factors change.
